Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) warned of a massive protest that would bring Tamil Nadu to a standstill if the BJP-led Union government took a decision on delimitation that would affect the southern States and offer more political power to the northern States.

“We will not remain silent. Tamil Nadu will come to a standstill. It will register its protest vehemently. Every family will come out to the streets. We will organise a big protest under my leadership,” he said in a video message.
