Chandra Sekhara Reddy appointed EESL national adviser

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of PSUs of the Ministry of Power, appointed A. Chandra Sekhara Reddy as its national adviser for Government Affairs and Media. Prior to this appointment, he served as media adviser for the Southern States and UTs at the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.

EESL has entrusted Mr. Reddy with the responsibility to design communication strategies across print, electronic, and digital/ social media, serving as a mentor to EESL’s public relations team for all media-related campaigns, and coordinating with State Designated Agencies and other stakeholders for implementation of national and international workshops.

Mr. Reddy has also been mandated to specially focus on Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), the flagship initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched at COP26, which emphasizes on sustainable lifestyles. He had worked as the CEO of the AP State Energy Conservation Mission (SECM) for more than a decade. On being appointed as EESL’s national advisor, Mr. Reddy expressed gratitude to CEO of EESL Akhilesh Kumar Dixit for giving him the opportunity.
