Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 139.35 feet

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 139.35 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 11,892 cusecs and a discharge of 1,400 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 67.09 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 5,516 cusecs and a discharge of 1,349 cusecs.

Combined storage in Periyar credit was 9,814.59 mcft. Rainfall recorded during the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday (October 19, 2025) was (in mm): Gudalur 41.4, Elumalai 33.4, Thekkadi 26.4, Maruthanadhi 12.6, Kodaikanal 12.4, Kuppanampatti 12, Periyar 6.6, Uthamapalayam 6.2, Veerapandi 4.2, Shanmuganadhi 2.6, Sothypparai 2.6, and Vaigai dam 2.
