Watch: IndiGo cuts 400–500 flights amid DGCA orders to “stabilise” operations

India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has decided to cut 400–500 daily flights to achieve “full stabilisation of its schedule,” reducing operations from around 2,300 to 1,800–1,900 flights per day. The decision comes hours after the DGCA ordered a 5% reduction, citing the airline’s inability to operate its full approved schedule reliably.
