Police Commissioner Sunpreet Singh won a bronze medal in the table tennis gazetted officers’ singles category at the 4th State-Level Police Games and Sports Meet hosted by the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. His win added to the impressive medal tally of the Warangal Commissionerate, which put up one of its strongest performances in recent years.

The six-day meet concluded on Saturday with Warangal finishing third overall winning 86 medals, including 12 gold, 25 silver and 49 bronze, with standout performances in archery and judo. For the first time in its history, the Warangal Commissionerate won a bronze medal in football, along with bronzes in tug of war and weightlifting. The boxing contingent also contributed multiple bronze medals.

Warangal officers continued their winning streak as ACP Jitender Reddy and ACP Madhusudhan clinched gold in the badminton doubles event for gazetted officers. In table tennis, constable Tulsi Das secured gold in the open category. The Commissionerate also excelled in lawn tennis, with Additional DCP Srinivas and ACPs Nagaiah and Narsaiah taking silver in the gazetted category, while SI Suresh Kumar and constable Venu claimed silver in the open category.
