Various departments of the Union government and Central agencies will showcase their products and services during the Vision Karnataka 2026 exhibition to be organised in Belagavi from Tuesday to Thursday.

Prayasa Exhibitions and Promotions agency will organise the exhibition at the KLE Centenary Convention Center on the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) campus.

BJP MP Jagadish Shettar told reporters on Monday that the exhibition will provide an opportunity to the people to interact directly with representatives of various Ministries of the Central government, public sector organisations, State government departments, research institutions, educational institutions and financial institutions.

“Comprehensive information will be provided about the various schemes of the Union government and their implementation. The financial options available to avail of benefits of the schemes will also be provided,” he said.

“Information will be provided on various sectors like defence, agriculture, finance, health, science and technology, space and others. Reputed companies will participate. They will showcase their products and services and speak about their initiatives, technological achievements, research, public welfare programs and innovation-based solutions,” Mr. Shettar, who is a former Chief Minister, said.

“Future of Belgaum@2047”, a panel discussion with officers and stakeholders, will be organised on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan and other officers and members of various trade bodies will participate.

Organising committee member Vanita Gupta and others were present.
