Vice President to arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on December 29

Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan will arrive in the capital on Monday for a two-day visit. Mr. Radhakrishnan, who will arrive at the airport at 7 p.m., will attend the Trivandrum Fest in the LMS Compound in Palayam as the chief guest.

He will be staying at Lok Bhavan.

On Tuesday, Mr. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the 92nd Sivagiri Pilgrimage at Varkala at 10 a.m. He will return to Thiruvananthapuram by helicopter and will inaugurate the conclusion of the platinum jubilee celebrations of Mar Ivanios College at 12.05 p.m. He will leave the city at 1.25 p.m.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in the city during the Vice-President’s visit.
