In the second stray vacancy round of seat allotment held on December 17 for admission to undergraduate medical courses, 19 out of the total 26 seats have been allotted, said Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Executive Director H. Prasanna.

Candidates who wished to participate in the allotment of the remaining 26 seats after the stray vacancy round were instructed to report to the KEA office with a demand draft (DD) for the course fee. Eligible candidates who appeared were given an opportunity to enter their preferences/options.

Accordingly, the results were published, in which 17 candidates secured admission to MVJ Medical College, and two candidates were admitted to MR Medical College, Kalaburagi, he said.

After this round of seat allotment, five seats remain vacant at MVJ Medical College and two seats remain vacant at MR Medical College, he added.
