Two-wheelers will not be allowed on four flyovers in Hyderabad after 10.00 p.m. on the intervening night of March 16 and 17 in view of Shab-e-Qadar Jaagne Ki Raath.

The restrictions will be enforced on Dr. Manmohan Singh Express Flyover between Zoo Park and Aramghar, Bahadurpura Flyover between Devi Bagh and Zoo Park Gate No. 2, Chandrayangutta Flyover from the Nayara petrol pump at Hashamabad to Phoolbagh DLRL, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Flyover between Pislabanda and Laxma Reddy Garden Function Hall.

Traffic police said the restrictions are being imposed to ensure road safety and prevent untoward incidents or accidents during the night when large numbers of people are expected to be on the roads.

Commuters have been advised to take note of the restrictions and cooperate with the traffic police. In case of inconvenience, motorists can contact the traffic helpline at 9010203626.
