Two migrant workers from Rajasthan were killed after the car they were travelling in crashed into a pillar of the Neopolis Bridge on the Outer Ring Road service road in Hyderabad in the early hours of Saturday (August 8, 2026).
The accident occurred around 12.25 a.m. when Kanaiyalal, 25, and his colleague Deram, 24 — both tile workers residing at Indra Reddy Nagar in Kollur — were travelling from their locality to Satva in Nanakramguda.
Police said Kanaiyalal was driving the vehicle at high speed when he allegedly lost control and rammed into the bridge pillar. Both men died on the spot.
Police said no other vehicle was involved in the accident. Further investigation is under way.
