Two-day workshop on design, innovation at Siddhartha Academy

A two-day capacity building workshop on innovation, design and entrepreneurship will be held at Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, deemed to be university, in Vijayawada on November 20 and 21 as part of its golden jubilee celebrations.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Wadhwani Foundation.

Samagra Shiksha State Project Director Bodda Srinivasa Rao will be chief guest of the programme, while the guests of honour include Additional State Project Director-I, Samagra Shiksha, A.P, M.R. Prasanna Kumar and Assistant Innovation Director, Innovation Cell, AICTE, Ministry of Education, Elangovan Kariappan.

The two-day workshop will cover subjects such as design thinking principles and human-centered innovation approaches, case studies, group work and reflections on building innovation ecosystems and insights into government innovation initiatives and startup journeys. There will also be incubation centre tours, cultural programmes and networking opportunities, according to a release from the institution.
