Two individuals were arrested and a total of 1.27 kilograms of ganja was seized in separate operations carried out by the State Task Force (STF) teams of the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department in different parts of Hyderabad.

In the first case, the STF-C team arrested 33-year-old V. Ganesha of Sitaphalmandi in Secunderabad, after he was found with 415 grams of dry ganja in his possession. The accused, along with the seized contraband, was handed over to the Musheerabad police station for further investigation.

In another operation, the STF-D team arrested a person selling ganja near a handloom shop in Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) Colony. A scooter and a total of 862 grams of ganja was seized from the accused. The accused and the seized material were later handed over to the Kukatpally excise station.

Further investgation is underway in both the cases.
