Traffic diversions in Mehdipatnam for skywalk works on May 24 and 25

Traffic diversions will be in place in parts of Mehdipatnam and along the PVNR Expressway from 4 p.m. on May 24 till 6 a.m. on May 25 in view of skywalk construction works near Mehdipatnam Rythu Bazar and CCTV camera pole erection works.

According to the Hyderabad Traffic Police, vehicles coming from Masab Tank, NMDC and S.D. Eye Hospital towards Rethibowli and Nanal Nagar will be diverted at PVNR Expressway Pillar Numbers 2 and 3 near Azizia Mosque via Meraj Cafe and Mehdipatnam before merging back onto the regular route near Pillar Number 15.

Traffic coming from Tolichowki, Langer Houz and Attapur towards Masab Tank via Nanal Nagar and Rethibowli will be diverted at PVNR Expressway Pillar Number 23 through a U-turn to the opposite carriageway and merged back near Pillar Numbers 4 and 5.

Vehicles travelling from Masab Tank towards RGIA will be diverted at S.D. Eye Hospital towards the Laxminagar ramp near Pillar Number 77.

Similarly, vehicles travelling from RGIA towards Mehdipatnam will have to take the exit at the Laxminagar ramp near Pillar Number 88. Police said vehicles would be diverted through respective down ramps depending on the progress of the works on the PVNR Expressway.

Motorists were advised to use alternate routes and follow updates issued by the Hyderabad Traffic Police on social media platforms. In case of emergencies, commuters can contact the traffic helpline at 9010203626.
