The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 18 Telangana districts for Monday (April 6).

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 37 and 25 respectively,” the bulletin said.
