Three people including the rider, the pillion rider were killed after a two-wheeler hit a pedestrian at a signal junction on N.S. Road in the Marine Drive area on Monday (April 27, 2026) morning at around 5.40 a.m.

The incident occurred at the Parsi Gymkhana junction signal. According to the police, the rider of the two-wheeler did not stop at the signal and collided with a pedestrian who was walking on the road. The same two-wheeler then hit two other scooters. All three persons, the rider, the woman seated behind him, and the pedestrian, sustained injuries and were taken to G.T. Hospital. Hospital authorities declared them brought dead.
