Three fatally knocked down by speeding car on NH 363 in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district

Three members of a family including a brother-sister duo riding a bike, were fatally knocked down by a speeding car on National Highway 363 at Mothuguda village in Asifabad mandal of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as 27-year-old Jagan, his 32-year-old sister Anasuya, and four-yearr-old nephew, all residents of Bendara village in Wankidi mandal. According to sources, the trio met with a tragic end while heading to their village to celebrate Deepavali, leaving their family members shattered, a day ahead of the festival of lights.

Jagan was riding the motorcycle with his sister and her two children riding pillion when the speeding car rammed into their bike, killing three of them on the spot. Anasuya’s daughter suffered grievous injuries. She was shifted to a hospital in Asifabad, sources said. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
