The Hindu Group has returned with the ‘The Hindu Made of Chennai Kolu Kondattam’ — an event to showcase uniquely themed kolu arrangements — by The Hindu Downtown.

This event is a vibrant celebration of tradition and creativity, the richness of culture and the essence of Chennai.

Open to all

The competition is open to all. Participants can submit pictures of their kolu by uploading them on the contest page: newsth.live/GK2025CHPA or by scanning the QR code.

The contest is currently live, and will end on September 26. Winners will be selected based on the unique appeal and storytelling element of their kolus, capturing the essence of Navaratri.

The event is presented by Gopuram Turmeric Powder and Kumkum, and powered by ITC Mangaldeep Premium Quality Incense and Dheepam Lamp Oil. In addition to showcasing their creative setups, participants can earn extra points by including packs of ITC Mangaldeep Incense Sticks, Dheepam Lamp oil and Aroma Ghee in their display photos.

The Associate Partners for the event are Sundari Silks, Hatsun Curd, and Aroma Ghee. The Tech and Water Partners are hilaptop.com and Repute, respectively. The Gift Partners of the event are Thiruvanmiyur Cotton House, Narpavi, Medimix, Naga, PS Tamarind, Vivekanandha Sarees, DIFA, RAS Chekku Oil, and Maestro Electric Cooker.
