The 24th edition of The Hindu EducationPlus Career Counselling which began from Davangere will be organised in Hubballi and Kalaburagi on Saturday.

Organised by The Hindu, this event continues its legacy of guiding students and parents in making well-informed academic and career decisions.

Designed as a one-stop platform for academic and career counselling, the event brings together renowned educationists, career experts and top institutions to provide personalised guidance on UPSC Exam Preparation; CET and NEET Counselling, conducted by officials from the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA); Career opportunities in diverse fields including Arts, Science and Commerce, Law, Management and Engineering, Medicine, CA and Cost Management, Fashion Designing, Animation, Performing Arts, Journalism, Architecture and more.

Whether students are exploring conventional paths or emerging career trends, this forum will offer the clarity, direction and expert advice they need.

In Hubballi

The Hubballi event will be organised at KLE Society’s Biotechnology Auditorium located on BVB College campus of KLE Technological University in Vidyanagar from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Managing Director of North Western Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) Priyanga M. will be the chief guest for the event.

The resource persons for the counselling session include Interim Director Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute (KMCRI) Ishwar Hosamani, Professor and Head of School of Computer Science and Engineering of KLETU Vijayalaxmi M., KEA coordinator Rajesh Hongal, career counsellor from CIGMA Syed Sadath Pasha and chartered accountant Shivanand Malagavi.

In Kalaburagi

Additional Commissioner of Department of School Education, Kalaburagi Division, Pandve Rahul Tukaram will be the chief guest for the Kalaburagi event to be held at Poojya Doddappa Appa Sabha Mantapa, Sharnbasava University, Vidyanagar from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

President of Kalyana Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry Sharnabasappa M. Pappa and Chairman of Disha PU College Shivanand Khajurgi will be guests of honour.

The resource persons for the counselling session include Vice-Chancellor of Sharnbasava University Anil Kumar Bidave, Head of the General Surgery Department of Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences Shivakumar C. Rajeshwar, career counsellor from CIGMA Abdul Nasir Mauzam, KEA coordinator Suresh Shetagar and chartered accountant Santosh Patil.

The entry is free for students and parents. The students are requested to reach the venue in both the cities by 9 a.m. for registration.
