The Hindu and Andhra Hospitals to conduct awareness programme today on heart health

In connection with the World Heart Day-2025, The Hindu, in association with Andhra Hospitals, is organising a special awareness programme on heart health in Vijayawada on Monday at the Heart & Brain Institute, Andhra Hospital.

The initiative aims at educating the people the importance of maintaining a healthy heart through lifestyle choices, timely diagnosis, and preventive care.

The programme will feature interactive sessions with leading cardiologists, health talks on the risk factors for heart disease, emergency response. Participants will also gain insights into the latest advancements in cardiac care and the role of regular check-ups in preventing heart ailments.

The programme is open to the public and is expected to draw participation from students, working professionals, and senior citizens alike.
