Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that Telangana’s vision was not something drafted behind closed doors, it is the outcome of a democratic, bottom-up process shaped by the suggestions of eminent personalities, discussions with experts and the opinions of citizens.

Speaking at the inaugural session of Telangana Rising Global Summit 2047 on Monday (December 8), he said that the State never lacked ambition, but a comprehensive vision capable of channelling people’s strength, aspirations and potential in a unified direction was missing.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who is also the Power and Finance Minister, said that economic development and environmental protection are not opposing forces and they will work hand-in-hand from now on.

The State’s vision stands on four pillars: a $3 trillion economy, unwavering commitment to inclusive development, advancing sustainability through innovation and Core Urban Region Economy(CORE)-Peri Urban Region Economy (PURE)-Rural Agricultural Region Economy (RARE).
