The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Saturday (August 1, 2026) released the rank-wise list of candidates from Telangana who have qualified in NEET-UG 2026 for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses for the 2026-27 academic year.

The list was prepared based on data received from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, following the conduct of NEET-UG by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The university clarified that the list has been released only for the information of candidates and parents, and should not be treated as the merit list.

NEET-UG 2026 toppers from Telangana

Among candidates from Telangana, Veeriahgari Sahyu secured the highest position in the list with an All India Rank (AIR) of 13 and a NEET score of 705. Bura Sai Sharan, with AIR 19 and a score of 701, was the next highest-ranked candidate, followed by Kandagattla Haneesh at AIR 21 with 700 marks. Andem Sai Charan Reddy and Mayuk Jayasimha, both scoring 700, secured AIR 38 and 42 respectively.

Kompella Sai Gayathri Tejoarunima, with AIR 83 and 693 marks, was the highest-ranked female candidate in the Telangana list, followed by Rutumbika Mohanty, who secured AIR 91 with 691 marks.

For the 2026-27 academic year, candidates belonging to the unreserved and Economically Weaker Sections (UR/EWS) categories are required to be in the 50th percentile, with the qualifying score ranging from 213 to 715. For OBC, SC and ST candidates, the qualifying criterion is the 40th percentile, corresponding to scores between 177 and 212.

For persons with disabilities, UR/EWS-PwD candidates are required to meet the 45th percentile, with scores between 194 and 212. The qualifying range for OBC-PwD and SC-PwD candidates is 177 to 193, while for ST-PwD candidates it is 177 to 191. The university said the cut-off scores are based on the NTA press release dated July 16.

Separate notification to register for 2026-27 admissions

KNRUHS said a separate notification will be issued inviting eligible candidates to register for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the university website for admission-related updates.
