Telangana Housing Board announces LIG Housing official logo design competition on Insta, ₹1 lakh prize for winners

After announcing a cash prize of ₹1 lakh in competition inviting entries for title for Telangana government’s Indiramma Houses for people from Lower Income Group (LIG), Telangana Housing Board on Wednesday (July 8, 2026) announced another competition on Instagram, this time inviting entries for the official logo for the housing project. 

How to apply?

People have to visit Telangana Housing Board’s handle on Instagram (@tghd.official) and click on the Google form link for the logo competition. After filling rhe details and uploading the logo, the form has to be submitted. 

The entries have to be submitted by July 12, 2026. The winners of the second competition too will win ₹1 lakh cash prize. The selected logo will be used in official communications, events, on digital platforms and other activities of the Housing Board, said the Board’s Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham. Designers, students, artists and others were invited to participate. 

The government has earlier announced the LIG housing project would be taken up in 26 Assembly constituencies in Core Urban Region (CURE); one lakh houses would be constructed on government lands.

The competitions are being held to make people part of the housing project. The Board has received nearly 14,000 entries for the project title competition, which are currently being checked. The winner would be announced soon. Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy would hand over the prize to the winner when the LIG housing project will be launched, said Mr. Gautham.
