Telangana government has approved the construction of hostel buildings on the premises of Niloufer Hospital here to provide accommodation to 280 postgraduate students and senior residents.
As part of the plan, a site inspection was conducted on the hospital premises by Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu to identify a suitable location for the new hostel blocks. Buildings will be constructed to accommodate 180 female doctors and 100 male doctors.
Ms. Chongthu informed that detailed proposals would be prepared and submitted to the government for approval. She added that hostels on the hospital campus would benefit both doctors and patients, ensuring availability of doctors round the clock, thereby strengthening medical care.
