T.N. Ministers review construction of hostels in Cuddalore district

Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare M. Mathiventhan and Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development C.V. Ganesan on Saturday inspected the construction of Social Justice hostels at Thittagudi and Devanampattinam in Cuddalore district.

The new hostel at Devanampattinam is being established at an estimate of ₹9.75 crore to accommodate 200 college boys, and the construction of hostel at the Government Higher Secondary School premises in Thittagudi has been taken up with an estimate of ₹6.01 crore.

While reviewing the progress of the work, Mr. Mathiventhan asked the officials to ensure quality of construction. The three-storey buildings will feature rooms, sanitation complexes, a kitchen, a dining hall, a common hall, and a warden’s room, he said.

Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar was present.
