T.N. CM Stalin condoles death of Congress leader Shivraj Patil

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin on Friday (December 12, 2025) condoled the death of senior Congress leader Shivraj Patil, who had held several significant positions, including those of the Lok Sabha Speaker, Union Minister, and Governor.

In his condolence message, Mr. Stalin said the senior Congress leader had experience spanning half a century in public life and efficiently discharged his duties as Speaker of the Lok Sabha and as Governor.

Mr. Stalin also recalled the friendship of the Congress leader with late DMK leader and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. The Chief Minister extended his condolences to the bereaved family members, friends, and members of the Congress party.

Stalin greets Rajinikanth

Mr. Stalin extended his birthday wishes to actor ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth on Friday, wishing him more successful films. In a social media post, Mr. Stalin said that Mr. Rajinikanth’s charisma transcends his age.
