Sustainability must move from awareness to action, and from action to measurable impact. “Let us continue to work together, share knowledge, build meaningful partnerships, and translate our commitments into tangible environmental outcomes,” V Sriram, Chief General Manager, HSE, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) said while delivering the vote of thanks at The Hindu Sustainability Summit 2026.
Mr. Sriram thanked all the panellists and government officials for their insights during the panel discussion and fireside chats. He thanked V. K. Rajeev, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu for being a part of the summit.
He thanked IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, MRPL, and other energy-sector organisations for being part of the summit. He thanked The Hindu for putting the event together. “A special word of appreciation to CommuniTree – our NGO partner – and all the sustainability organisations and volunteers who supported the various initiatives such as the Urban Forest Trail, Art for Awareness, and the Installation Art Event at Mathur during the last 30 days,” he said.
