Surveillance stepped up as Ernakulam reports Chikungunya cases

The Health authorities on Tuesday (April 14) urged people to remain vigilant after chikungunya cases were reported from parts of Ernakulam.

According to officials, clusters have been identified in Kunnukara and Chengamanad panchayats in the district. So far, nine cases have been confirmed, while 19 are suspected, according to a statement.
