Students trying to sell IPL match tickets in black among 24 arrested in Bengaluru

The police said that they have recovered as many as 36 tickets from the accused, who are private firm employees and students attempting to sell the tickets at higher prices.

Cracking down on the ticket black marketing operation during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, the Central Division of Bengaluru City Police has registered 17 cases and has arrested 24 individuals for allegedly selling match tickets illegally near the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

According to the police, 16 cases were registered at the Cubbon Park Police Station, while one case was filed at the Halasuru Gate Police Station.
