S. Ramesh, who took charge as Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, on Friday said that every staff member in the department should come with a mindset to serve the devotees.

Addressing officials during a review at the headquarters in Nungambakkam, he said that the aim of the department should be to provide the best experience in temples to devotees.

Mr. Ramesh said that Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay had promised to provide a stable and clean governance and the department too should follow the same. Senior officials were also present at the meeting, said an official press release here.
