Sreenarayanaguru Open University Zonal Kalotsavam concludes

Fatima Mata National College, Kollam, emerged the overall champions in the Sreenarayanaguru Open University Zonal Kalotsavam (Arts Festival) that concluded here on Sunday. The Learner Support Centre at the college secured the title with 181 points. TKM College of Arts and Science, Karikode, (110 points) is in second place while Mar Ivanios College (78 points) came in the third position.

As part of the University’s fifth anniversary celebrations, the State-level Arts Festival will be conducted from November 28 to 30 at Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode. The zonal arts festivals across all five regional centres will conclude before that and State-level winners will be awarded grace marks and the chance to participate in the Inter-University Arts Festival representing the Open University.

The valedictory function was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Payyannur, director and secretary of Bharat Bhavan. Syndicate member Dr. C. Udayakala presided over the function while registrar Dr. Biju R.I., finance officer Saranya M.S., cyber controller Dr. Bijumon T., PRO Shalini K.S., and general convener Dr. Sophia Rajan also spoke on the occasion.
