Speculative journalism dangerous, says Siddaramaiah at State journalists’ meet

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday cautioned against “speculative journalism”, saying it was dangerous for society and urged media professionals to reflect on whether their work was aligned with the ideals of the Constitution.

Inaugurating the 40th State conference of the Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association, organised jointly with the Bidar District Working Journalists’ Association, the Chief Minister said journalists must go beyond merely disseminating information and contribute to social reform.
