Nearly half of the enumeration forms distributed for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of elector rolls have been digitised, according to election officials.

Chief Electoral Officer (Kerala) Rathan U. Kelkar said 1,37,36,737 forms had been digitised by 6 p.m. on Wednesday. This constitutes 49.32% of the total distributed forms.

Meanwhile, the number of ‘untraceable forms,’ where the voters have not been traced, has risen to 3,80,120, Mr. Kelkar said.

Mr. Kelkar said he had held a video conference with booth-level officers (BLO) who had digitised less than 100 forms to understand the problems faced by them. More camps have been arranged for receiving the filled-up forms from the public and uploading the data, he said.

The house-to-house enumeration phase had kicked off in Kerala on November 4. This phase will end on December 4.
