Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudhir Ramnath Kekan has directed officials to ensure that adequate facilities are provided for officers and staff deployed for security arrangements during the upcoming Medaram Maha Jatara.

The SP, accompanied by senior officials, personally inspected the accommodation sites from Vengalapur to Bayyakkapeta and in Medaram on Sunday.

Reviewing the ongoing arrangements, he emphasised that all necessary facilities should be in place so that the personnel can discharge their duties effectively and without inconvenience. He instructed officials to complete the work before the commencement of the Jatara.

Later, the SP also inspected the road works currently underway in Medaram and reviewed the arrangements being made at the temple premises.
