Seminar on public policy at Karnatak University in Dharwad tomorrow

The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Local Branch, Dharwad, and the Post-Graduate Department of Economics, Karnatak University, Dharwad, will jointly organize a one-day conference on “Emerging Trends in Public Policy” on Tuesday.

The former secretary to the Governor of Karnataka Vijayakumar Torgal will deliver the keynote address at Lecture Hall No 1 of the Department of Economics, Karnatak University campus, at 10 a.m.

Vice-Chancellor A.M. Khan will inaugurate it.

Chairman of Economics Department B.H. Nagoor will preside over it.

The event will feature deliberations by various resource persons, including professors S.S. Patagundi, S.T. Bagalkoti and Prof. Nagoor.

The conference aims to provide a platform for academicians, administrators and scholars to discuss the emerging dimensions of public policy in India and its role in achieving sustainable and inclusive development and reducing regional imbalance in the country, said a release.
