The second randomisation of First-Level Checking of electronic voting machines (EVMs), ballot units and VVPATs was conducted under the supervision of District Election Officer Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru in The Nilgiris on Wednesday (April 15).

The exercise was undertaken in the presence of election observers and members of various political parties in Udhagamandalam, Gudalur and Coonoor constituencies. Following the completion of the randomisation of the EVMs, a list of machines allocated to each polling station in each of the three constituencies will be provided to all contesting candidates.
