Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that she will do all that is possible to realise the Poozhithode-Padinjarathara road project.

Visiting Padinjarathara in Wayanad on Saturday, Ms. Vadra pointed out that local people were facing connectivity issues and were unable to reach nearby districts even for medical emergencies.

“The work of the tunnel road [Anakkampoyil – Meppadi] is also progressing. Let the government decide which of these projects are easier to realise,” she said, adding that environmental issues needed to be resolved through discussions.

MLA T. Siddique, District Collector D.R. Meghasree, Padinjarathara grama panchayat president P. Balan, and Divisional Forest Officer Ajith K. Raman had accompanied her.
