SCR to run 60 Sabarimala special trains

To clear the extra rush of Sabarimala pilgrims, South Central Railway (SCR) will operate 60 pre-Sabarimala special services between various destinations.

Train No. 07101 Machilipatnam-Kollam, via Gudur-Renigunta-Gudur, will be operated on November 14, 21, 28, December 26 and January 2, 2026. Train No. 07102 Kollam-Machilipatnam will run on November 16, 23, 30, December 28 and January 4, 2026.

Special trains (07101 and 07102) will stop at Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.

Train no. 07103 Machilipatnam-Kollam, via. Guntur-Nandyal-Kadapa-Renigunta, will be operated on December 5, 12, 19 and January 9 and 16, 2026, and train no. 07104 Kollam-Machilipatnam will be operated on December 7, 14, 21 and January 11 and 18.

he two trains (07103 and 07104) will halt at Pedana, Gudlavalleru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddalur, Nandyal, Banaganapalle, Proddutur, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Rajampet, Kodur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.

Train no. 07105 Narsapur-Kollam, via. Vijayawada-Gudur-Renigunta, will be operated on November 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14, 21 and 28 and January 4, 11 and 18, and train no. 07106 Kollam-Narsapur will run on November 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and January 6, 13 and 20.

The two special trains (07105 and 07106) will stop at Palakollu, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions, said Vijayawada division Public Relations Officer Nusrat M. Mandrupkar in a release on Friday (November 7).

Train no. 07107 Charlapalli-Kollam, via Pagidipalli, Guntur, Gudur and Renigunta, will run on November 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and January 5, 12, and 19. Train no. 07108 Kollam-Charlapalli, will be operated on November 19, 26, December 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and January 7, 14 and 21.

The two special trains (07107 and 07108) will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikudi, Pidiguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.

Advance reservation is available for all the special trains and devotees are requested to make use of the facility, Ms. Nusrat said.
