A day after Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy warned officials of suspension if roads are not clean, sanitation works in the Corporations in and around Hyderabad were reviewed by Commissioners concerned. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao too held a review meeting on the measures taken up for garbage collection, sanitation and protection of public health.

The Chief Minister, who is also the MA&UD Minister, on Tuesday directed officials to study scope for skywalks in areas with heavy traffic density, ensure operation and maintenance of street lights, and explore possibility of smart poles in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. On the occasion, he said that officials will be suspended on the spot if cleanliness on roads is not maintained. The Chief Minister also said that he would visit all zones in the Corporation.
