Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Sunny Joseph has refuted the allegations against the party levelled by the Congress and the BJP related to the Sabarimala gold theft case.

Addressing the media in Kannur on Saturday (January 3), he said that the charges against the Congress leaders linking them with Unnikrishnan Potti, the prime accused in the case, would not hold water. Mr. Joseph pointed out that the Congress was not in power in the State and at the Centre. So, it was obvious who was capable of helping the suspects in the case.

Meanwhile, replying to a question, he said that the party was yet to begin seat-sharing talks for the upcoming Assembly polls. Discussions would be held on fielding senior leaders. Mr. Joseph also said that he was yet to decide on not contesting the Assembly polls.
