A roundtable discussion on the next phase of Kerala’s development will be held at the C. Achutha Menon Centre here on Wednesday.

Organised by the C. Achutha Menon Foundation, the discussion will be inaugurated by Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal. K. Ravi Raman, member of the State Planning Board, will moderate the discussion.

The roundtable aims to create a blueprint for the State’s development in areas such as health, education, agriculture, industry, science and technology, gender justice, research, climate change, environment, food security, knowledge-based economy, etc., according to a press release.

Historian Rajan Gurukkal, chairman of the Seventh State Finance Commission K.N. Harilal, CPI State secretary and Achutha Menon Foundation president Binoy Viswam will participate in the discussion.
