The simmering group rivalry in the BJP in Mancherial district came out in the open on Tuesday (October 14, 2025). Two senior BJP leaders reportedly entered into a heated argument right in front of the BJP State president N. Ramchander Rao during the latter’s visit to Neelwai village in the afternoon.

The incident occurred while Mr. Rao was speaking to the bereaved family members of the BJP Vemanapalli mandal president E. Madhukar, who allegedly ended his life last week.

A war of words broke out between the two senior party leaders of the district in the presence of the party State chief much to the chagrin of the party local cadre.  A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
