The Rangoli Metro Art Centre (RMAC), located adjacent to MG Road Metro Station, will host a day-long celebration to mark World Music Day on June 21.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has invited musicians and music enthusiasts from across the city to participate. The event will provide an open platform for performers of all ages and musical backgrounds to showcase their talent before a live audience.

Artists representing a wide range of genres, including Indian classical, Carnatic, Hindustani, jazz, blues, pop, rock, folk, fusion, and contemporary music, can take part. The celebrations will feature live performances, and a major attraction of the event will be a Community Drum Jam, led by musicians Vasundhara Das and Roberto Narain.

Musicians interested in performing can register by submitting details of their performance, genre, and duration. Performance slots will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Registrations can be completed by emailing rangoli@bmrc.co.in or through walk-in registration at RMAC between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Registrations will remain open until 5 p.m. on June 19. For details, contact the administration office of Rangoli Metro Art Centre at 080-22969265.
