When Ranbir Kapoor was praised for ‘Dhurandhar’ during Ramayana event
Ranbir Kapoor, during his Ramayana event in New York, was pranked. When Vishal Misra, one of the attendees at the event, praised him for Dhurandhar, he clarified that he was Ranbir Kapoor, and that the former must have been referring to Ranveer Singh. Director Nitesh Tiwari, who was standing close by, quickly told RK that he was being pranked and the attendee was referring to an old ad with ‘Ranbir Kapoor’ and ‘Ranveer Singh’ mentions.
“I told him I loved his work in Dhurandhar and he started saying “No that is a different Ranveer..” before @niteshtiwari22 cut him off and told him I was pulling his leg with the Dream11 ad!”, the user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The user then posted the ad. When asked how Ranbir’s reaction was to the prank, the user replied, “He paused, said “oh” and started laughing.” Here is the X post:
When is the new Ramayana teaser releasing?
Producer Namit Malhotra marked Ram Navami on March 27 with a personal note reflecting on the journey of Ramayana. Along with it, he shared a key update, revealing that a new glimpse from the film will be unveiled on April 2, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti.
