Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) strongly condemned the Enforcement Directorate’s raids at business entities linked to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal, alleging that the BJP has begun its “preparations” for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.

The Punjab BJP leaders hit back at Mr. Mann and alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party is a party of “thieves and robbers”.

The ED on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) conducted raids at the business and residential premises of Mr. Mittal in Punjab and Haryana as part of a Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), officials said.
