POLYCET 2026: 91.37% pass in Andhra Pradesh; girls outdo boys, ASR district tops list

A total of 1,48,950 candidates have qualified for admission to diploma courses across Andhra Pradesh after the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2026 recorded a pass percentage of 91.37%.

According to the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), 1,63,008 students appeared for the examination held on April 25, 2026, out of 1,77,581 registered candidates. The turnout was the highest in the history of POLYCET, with more than 23,000 candidates writing the test compared to last year, the SBTET said in a statement after the results were declared on Tuesday (May 5, 2026).
