The UDF has also gained ground in the LDF stronghold of Udumbanchola, where candidate Senapathi Venu leads by 4,418 votes following the completion of the fifth round.

As counting of votes continues in the hilly district of Idukki in Kerala, UDF candidates are leading in all five Assembly constituencies: Devikulam, Udumbanchola, Idukki, Thodupuzha, and Peerumade.
Kerala voted for its Assembly election in a single phase on April 9, 2026.
