Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday (November 19, 2025) morning by a special IAF aircraft to participate in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
He was received at the Puttaparthi airport by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh. Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee RJ Rathnakar was also present to welcome the Prime Minister.

Soon after his arrival, PM Modi drove to Prasanthi Nilayam, where he offered prayers at the Maha Samadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He then spent a few moments in silent reflection before interacting briefly with senior members of the Trust.
From Prasanthi Nilayam, Mr. Modi proceeded to the Hill View Stadium, the main venue for the centenary celebrations. Thousands of devotees from across India and abroad have gathered to mark the historic occasion, with elaborate arrangements put in place by the Trust and district administration.
Mr. Modi is scheduled to address the gathering, highlighting Sai Baba’s contributions to education, healthcare and humanitarian service.
