Peddler arrested, 10 kg ganja recovered

The Halasuru gate police have arrested a 31-year-old peddler and allegedly recovered 10 kg of ganja worth ₹10.4 lakh from him.

According to the police, the accused Kushal was caught red-handed while selling the drugs to his customers on the footpath of Bannappa park situated close to the station.

The police recovered 1.4 kg of ganja from him. Based on his information, the police raided the house of his source and recovered another 9 kg of ganja, which was stored. The accused has been booked under the NDPS Act, and efforts are on to track down his network .
