All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Monday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah for the victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Bihar Assembly election. In a post on his social media handle, he said the mandate reaffirmed the people’s trust in the alliance’s “collective leadership and commitment to stability and development.”

He added that people of the northern State had given a “fitting response” to the Congress-led INDIA (Indian National Developmental, Inclusive Alliance) bloc, “rejecting its falsehoods and attempts to undermine the institutions of democracy.”
