Overseas scholarship forAdi Dravidar, tribal students

The Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department has invited applications for scholarships under Annal Ambedkar Overseas Higher Education Scholarship Scheme for academic year 2026-27 from students belonging to the Adi Dravidar community, Adi Dravidar converts to Christianity, and tribal communities to pursue higher education abroad.

Candidates should have got admission to a Master’s or a PhD programme at a foreign university ranked within the top 1000 as per QS World University Rankings, and their annual family income should not exceed ₹12 lakh.

The Master’s applicant should not be above 35 years and the PhD candidate not above must not have completed 40 years.

While submitting their applications, the students should upload the admission letter received from the foreign university, community certificate, recent family income certificate, mark sheets for class 10, class 12, undergraduate, and post graduate programmes (if applicable), UG/PG degree or provisional certificate, Aadhar card, Ration card, passport, parent’s or applicant’s salary slip for past three months, income tax return documents, and recent passport size photographs.

Eligible candidates may apply online through websites www.tnadw.gov.in/overseas_scholarship or www.tnadwscholarship.in between May 5 and June 5. For admission-related queries, students may contact toll free helpline 1800-599-7638.
